#You are a Writer Poet Human Rights and a Social Activist, How
you do fuse these activities? and like any human being you have a life
to live.
I believe that there is a lot things to do on this world for any human being. my family(my life) nor my activities are ever separate. I am seeing this society just like my family. That is why their sorrows are also mine. Then how can I live happily ? How can I live a life only for me when the human race on this earth is sad in so many ways? I am only perfect when all these things are come together. My life, poetry, and activism are fused in me as the pearl of a chain.I think all these activities has some connections always. And Poetry is my soul but more than it like a weapon for my activities.
#Why is it necessary to fight unjust political systems ,
discrimination and exploitation , especially in your region India?
It is necessary to fight unjust political system. Because political systems have right to give social justice of people, that is also natural justice they needed. But the administrations system is not giving it.A great country like India , my country most of the politicians are bribers and criminals. Law and justice here helpless and isn’t doing its job properly. This is same the case in almost all countries.People, especially women and children’s are constantly being exploited. There are so many laws for the people here, but justice is divided in two ways. It is the justice they desirer for those with money and power, and another justice for the poor.Money controls everything. The poor continue to be poor.So i am working for the marginalized people. So while working for their welfare, and also involved myself in struggles against their exploitation and for their rights.I am raising my voice constantly through the articles and poems against the injustice of the political system in my country. It is my duty for my people.
#You have traveled to Africa before, what are the similarities
and differences between India and Africa , in areas of peace , human
rights , freedom expression and gender issues?
Yes it was my first time experience in Africa. It was a too better experience than the knowledge provided by history books.I have taken a lot of inspiration from Africa and its black politics which give political representation to every sphere.Always i respect black nationality. I loved the African writers because it molded me very much and it gave me more new insight about Africa. India and Africa face to so many same problems. That is in the name of cast, race, sexuality, language, exploitation and the lot of things are similar here. And the people those who are not in the parity’s of power, money, privilege, is the main thing that we can see in Africa and India. There is no measurement to measure the pain and sorrow of such people. The music and the way of life and everything has some similarities. Through politics also there happening in an another contest because always the African’s are fighting to the white dominion , here the people of India always suffering with the privilege’s of caste system. There are still seems to be a submissive attitude among African people. One thing that still hurts me is the children who are sent to child labor without give education and the adolescent girls who become mothers through forced marriages. Hunger, shelter less , and lack of education are making Africa is very worse than India.”Kibera slum” and their lives still haunt me in the memories. In any country, victims are women and children. All religions and society is against woman’s and their rights.
Peace, human rights, freedoms and gender justice must be ensured in any country, not just in Africa and India. However, the new generations are advanced. But Africa is very beautiful in its nature and sceneries, like India.
#What are your human rights and social interventions you are
using to help your communities especially during these COVID 19
times
Unfortunately i,am also locked down in my home but i am using all social media”s and i am always connecting with the world. I am mingling with the people through my live programs and listening to the world conditions. Along with it,joined to the health workers and helping the people in need. And raising awareness among the people and giving foods for those without food. Will rise this world and we will survive.Thank you so much.
